Introducing The Liskeard and District Camera Club

The Liskeard and District Camera Club is a friendly club of like minded photographers and was founded in 1960. Whatever your age, whatever your skill level, if you have an interest in photography - either traditional or digital - why not come along for a couple of evenings, before deciding if you want to join the club.

Our annual subscriptions are modest at £25 for an adult and £10 for junior members and entry to Special Events is £5 for non-members. New members pay half price when joining from January. The subscriptions pay for the use of the Echo Centre, club running costs and inviting our guest speakers. Our club is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) through the Western Counties Photographic Federation (WCPF).

We have a varied programme of activities ranging from guest speakers, critique evenings both within the club and other local camera clubs, together with a number of competitions. We meet at 7.30pm most Tuesday evenings between September and May, at the Echo Centre, Barras Place, Liskeard, Cornwall (See Location Map)

The Echo Centre is a purpose-built disability resource centre and has facilities for members with disabilities. Whilst we do not have access to darkroom facilities, our club has been fortunate with an Awards for All lottery grant which has allowed us to purchase a portable computer and digital projector.

All of us are happy to offer help, information or advice, and we are always happy to extend our knowledge to anyone who is in need of assistance.
